Find Your Why
Kids are amazing and #hopeful. (This is my happy @lessSpinach in the photo.) They #dreambig and they are not thinking they can’t do something. We #encourage our kids and they #achieve happily with no worries as children. ⠀

As we grow up and become adults, some of us grow up with a #narrative in our heads that tell us we aren’t good enough, or we won’t be able to do it, or we don’t have enough time. We worry about what people think when they aren’t even thinking about us at all. We are so afraid to fail, but how do you succeed if you don’t learn to fail and course correct and keep going? Learn from your mistakes. That’s how you get better.⠀

As Rachel Hollis said in the recent Rodan + Fields convention that it’s all #mindset and her #motivationhack is genius. She told us to make a #playlist that we only play when we need some #motivation to help #changeourmindset and we count down from 5 to 1 and dance ourselves into a #postivemindset ⠀
She gives so many nuggets of #wisdom that will help you see through the lies that you believe in your head that aren’t true. ⠀

She says a lot of times we will “dim our own light because we think that the glare makes people uncomfortable. A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. But you can’t light up anybody else’s life if you don’t allow yourself to glow.” ⠀

Don’t self sabotage. Don’t sabotage your own happiness. Don’t make yourself small for someone else. This is your life. Take control of your life. Your time is just as valuable as theirs. Your dreams and hopes are just as valuable. Don’t look ? back with regrets. Don’t give up on your dreams.
