The trends for Spring 2013 are all about wearing black and white and florals. Separately of course.
I am loving the pink trend with florals because it is so fun for spring to wear color after a winter of darks.
Designers like 3.1 Phillip Lim are really putting florals in everything for Spring including trousers and sweaters. Even Alice+Olivia did a collaboration with Neiman Marcus and Target for Spring that included a floral bike.
Here is an outfit I put together for spring that is pretty in pink with florals. I will be wearing this with my Francois Pinton Sunnies and riding my Alice+Olivia cruiser bike around this spring.
Anne Hathaway and the rest of Hollywood and all the models in Paris, Milan, and New York have been rocking the Isabel Marant high top sneakers with the hidden wedge. Who can blame them when you can be comfortable and a bit taller in your sneakers at the same time. Not that models need to look taller, but I think most women wish they were taller and these Isabel Marant wedge high top sneakers can give you that extra 2 1/2 inches you have always wanted in a hidden wedge in a sneaker so that you can look tall even in your casual wear. Or if you want just wear them in lieu of your boots and walk around the city in comfort.
Anne Hathaway rocked her black Isabel Marant high top wedge sneakers with a pair of leather leggings and blazer. Love the look.

When you think of springtime purses, you typically think of pastel or sherbet bags that beckon the floral colors of spring. We’ve searched for the top handbag trends for spring and found five handbags that express different styles that might not be in your typical spring accessories closet, but ones that will put you ahead of the rest for the new season. The first hot trend for spring is raffia. Raffia is a palm-like material that we are starting to see in tons of shoes, accessories, and now bags.
Our favorite one is the Burberry leather and raffia shoulder bag for $1,295. Its tan raffia base combined with caramel leather detailing give it an exotic yet modern feel. Because of the combinations of two neutrals, this bag goes great with almost any outfit and screams “fashion-forward.
The next handbag trend for spring is a spin on the typical evening clutch – the envelope clutch. Our choice is the Chloé color-block leather envelope clutch for $450. This clutch in particular embodies a traditional trend, color blocking, and a more contemporary trend, the envelope style. The lime green has a springy punch against two different shades of brown, creating a very vintage vibe. The soft leather elements and clean distinction in color blocking allow it to be able to have a more casual appearance than the usual purse you’d bring out with you on a Saturday night. The next change for handbags in spring is the textured tote. Whether it’s woven or embossed, spring will bring about tons of texture in oversized bags like totes.
Our pick is the Miu Miu’s Matelassé leather tote for $2,200. Its soft rose pink color acts a neutral but gives a bit more vibrancy than just a classic beige. The subtly ruffled exterior adds an element to the overly structured and tailored bags we’ve been so used to seeing in the past. The partially silver linked handles create an additional form of texture that ties everything together in a gorgeous, sophisticated bag.
The fourth spring handbag that we desperately need is the Victoria Beckham Victoria leather tote for $3,250. This beautifully crafted tote makes a statement with a bold pop or orange with black sides and handles. The geometric shape and expertly chosen hues make it not only chic and elegant, but also sultry and edgy. The last handbag look for spring is carrying a bright satchel.
Our pick is the Proenza Schouler small leather satchel for $1,225. The neon-coral color gives it a fashionable pop of color that will stand out against any outfit. The belt buckle straps and gold hardware are sleek additions to this fabulous bag. Whatever your style is, these five bags are the top choices for spring and utterly amazing.

Everyone gets excited for Spring because it means open toe shoes!
Here are the top 5 sandals for Spring according to the gals at the Shopping and Info office.
If you don’t want that very flat sandal, try this tiny wedge sandal like the RED Valentino Grommet Wedge Sandal for $325. The t-strap and double ankle strap add a unique design to a boring flat sandal while the bow and grommet detailing giving it a little something extra.
For a slightly high option, we like the Brunello Cucinelli Scrunch Gray Fabric Sandal for $955 because it makes us reminisce of the Italian countryside. The grey fabric as a neutral provides a nice change from blacks and tans.
For a bold pop of color, we like the Ralph Lauren Alannah Suede Platform Sandal for $495. The chunky wooden platform against the bright tangerine color makes it an amazing sandal for Spring!
For a new spin on the tan heeled sandal, we like the Alexander McQueen Skull-Detail Braided Platform Sandal that has natural braided straps with gold details. The twists and curves of the straps give it an abstract pattern that will look fierce on any foot.
Our last sandal trend for Spring is a twist on the classic flat sandal. The Fendi Attraction Wrap Flat Sandal has a great bright red color, perfect for the season and an ankle wrap that gives it a sexy edge. Throw away your boring flip-flops and get one of these top sandals for Spring 2012!
As Spring is finally approaching, we can now finally start to put the dark hues of our wardrobes away and bring in the new season with brighter, cheerier colors. For this year’s Spring, the color of choice is not pastels or bright pinks, but it is actually white: simple, timeless, and striking. Now, you may be thinking that white dresses in Spring seem very “tea party,†or “country club.†Contrary to this notion, white dresses will actually pose a stylish threat this season. Although you may have some white dresses already hanging in your closet, take a look at these five options that give a new spin on the classic white dress.
The first is the Theyskens’ Theory Dystie Dress available for $695. It’s a metallic tweed dress with a scoop neck that slightly flares at the waist creating a few subtle pleats. The tweed texture and high neckline give it an elegant twist that is quite different than your average white shift dress.
The next is the Diane von Furstenberg Leeandra Flower Lace Dress  available for $425. The long sleeves and semi-masculine collar provide a nice balance to the large lace pattern overlay that creates a sense of femininity.
The next style of white dress for the upcoming season is one like the Nellie Partow Ava Dress available for $845 that features a drop waist with side cutouts, creating a fabulous silhouette. The exposed seam on the waist provides the just enough trendiness and shape.
The Beyond Vintage V Neck Lace Batwing Dress available for $249 is one of my favorite new styles of white dresses for Spring and we should be seeing a lot like these for the upcoming season. The scalloped lace edges on the dress make it have a gorgeous hemline and the dainty yet billowy sleeves are complimentary on any figure. It is sweet and sophisticated all in one. The last white dress grabs a new take on the traditional white goddess dresses that we have gotten so used to seeing in the warmer months.
The BCBGMAXAZRIA Magdalena Gown  available for $348 gives an almost casual chicness to the idea of a floor length white dress. Its sheer mesh cutouts at the neck and on the sides give it just the right amount of sex appeal while still allowing it to maintain its classy nature. These five different styles and takes on the traditional white Spring dress will almost certainly be seen on the trendiest fashionistas and most glamorous celebrities who know how to spot a staple item of clothing that has been reinstituted as a unique fashion treasure.
I love the return of the nude neutral beige shoe for spring. It is all about a long and lean looking leg this spring and summer and the styles are aplenty with nude colored shoes.
Marc Jacobs got a lot of attention at New York Fashion Week because he did not put celebrities in his front row. He wanted to showcase his clothing rather than the celebrities wearing his clothes.
One celebrity who was seen in his clothing before New York Fashion Week in a movie. A red short sleeve cardigan sweater by Marc by Marc Jacobs was seen on Jennifer Garner in the movie “Valentine’s Day.” She was seen in this sweater in August 2009 when shooting scenes for the movie so that particular sweater is no longer available.
