Ann Demeulemeester boots are like Rick Owens shearling coats. The styles do not change that much from season to season, but that is why her fans keep coming back to her. As a fan of Ann Demeulemeester boots, I have collected my fair share over the years.
What is nice about her boots are the leather men shoes soles that create a very sturdy boot for you to walk through the cities of Berlin, New York City, Glasgow, Dublin, England, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Aspen, Denver, Boston, and Dallas in the winter without worrying about babying your winter boots. Be it rain or snow, Ann Demeulemeester boots are the workhorse boots for winter and for spring. Not only are they very Avant Garde looking, but they are also very functional. Who knew that function and shoe fashion could actually be blended together by such an artist as Ann Demeulemeester.
This time of the year is my favorite time of the year because as the kiddies head back to school, you can spend some time on yourself browsing the online stores at work or at home for more than Christmas and Holiday gifts for family, friends, and in laws. Now you can really look at what is new for Spring 2013 and what you can buy on sale from your wishlist from this winter season. Which is by no means over since it is only January 7, 2013 today.
So if you are looking for a great pair of Ann Demeulemeester boots on sale for 50% off that you can wear as soon as you receive them, get them now on sale.
So the rainy season has finally started in Los Angeles. I am so glad because I was frankly tired of all the 100 plus degree days. It would be one thing if the weather was 75 degrees and sunny, but when it is 100 plus degrees, I welcome rainy weather. One of the best things about rainy weather is shopping for new rain boots. Every season rain boots become more and more interesting.
Rain boots are no longer just the cool rubber sole hunter rain boots, but now their are ankle boots that are rain boots, cowboy boots that are rain boots and so many other styles. Some of my favorites for the rainy weather this season are made by Hunter rain boots, Valentino, Tory Burch, and Sergio Rossi.
Sergio Rossi Hunting Wedge Rain Boots for $350 are a sleek way to wear a rubber sole rain boot in rainy weather. I love the contrasting brown belt detail as well as the wedge heel. It is simple yet adds just the right amount of detail so you can wear this with your skinny jeans at the office without worrying that if the sun comes out you will look silly.
RED Valentino Bow Rain Boots is another favorite of mine for the season. Check out the riding boot style with the buckle detail at the top. These look like the perfect classic riding boots with the thick heeled sole with an added bonus of the bow to give you that signature Valentino look that is so big right now for $195 and now on sale for $117 this is sure to be a hit.
Hunter Boots Regent St. James Tall Rain Boots for $195  is the classic hunter rain boots that we have all grown to love over the years. However this season, they added a little bit of equestrian style to their classic colorful rubber sole boots. Their St. James Tall rain boots has a canvas beige shaft for that equestrian riding boot look so you can ride in the rain.
Everyone needs a pair of riding boots. Sure, high-heeled boots may seem like a good idea when you’re out shopping but you definitely won’t think that while you’re trying to get about in the rain. Riding boots are chic and functional. They even make wearing leggings acceptable (at least it seems like you’re going for the horse riding look). If you don’t know where to start looking for a pair, here are five great options:
Tory Burch Calista Riding Boots: These riding boots are made of cowhide leather with polished gold hardware. They have a zip closure at the inner side and the Tory Burch emblem on the outer calf. You can buy these boots in brown or black leather for $495.
- Burberry Flat Riding Rain Boots: This is an elegant pair of riding boots with a belted detail at the top. It’s made of rubber, with a rubber sole and a soft fabric lining. These riding boots are only $285.Â
- Frye Veronica Slouch Tall Boots: These tall, slouchy boots are super comfortable and come in a pull-on style so they don’t even have a zip. They have a round toe and a stacked heel. You can buy these boots for $328.
- Gucci Tall Lace-Up Riding Boot: These boots are made of dark brown leather and have a classic lace up vamp. They are effortlessly chic and can dress up any fall outfit. These are on sale for 1,150 at Neiman Marcus.
My new holiday purchase for myself are these beautiful tan brown Chloe tall riding boots. The leather is beautifully tanned and the leather is distressed just right. I love the balance of trend with the classic elegance of these boots. These are a pair of boots you will love for many years to come.
There is only one size 7 left in these. If you want these boots, click here to get the Chloe riding boots for yourself for the winter. It is going to be a long winter and it just started. Happy Holidays. I am going to wear my boots for Thanksgiving dinner.
