Not many designers can have both their clothes and shoes featured in nearly every fashion magazine on the shelf. Now we know that the LA based designer, Cynthia Vincent, has amazing clothes but she also has a great collection of sandals in stores right now. Her line, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent, makes remarkably casual and relatively affordable summer wedges. In my opinion the collections trendiest sandal is the Petra Platform Wedge.
The sandal is made of comfortable brown cowhide leather and has crisscross straps that buckle at the ankle. Unlike most wedge sandals, these have a perfect strap to heel height ratio so you want be tipping over in these 5-inch heels. Another great aspect of the design is the 1.75-inch platform that makes the Petra Wedge so wearable.
The heel is made from lightweight cork, accented with birch. This makes for easy walking because even though the heels work with the clunky trend, the cork and birch don’t make the sandal too heavy to wear.
What’s best about these sandals is their ability to combine a bunch of trends. They are city sandals, with a platform, and a cork platform at that. All together, these shoes make a statement, which is perfect for everyone’s casual summer wardrobe.
So, if you’re in the market for a new pair of wedges (and let’s be honest… who isn’t?) then grab a pair of Petra Platform Wedges by Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent for $350.
