Coqui Coqui blends exotic herbs and oils from the Mexican Yucatan peninsula to create entirely natural perfumes and bath products. Crafted in the town of Valladolid, each scent is inspired by the history and traditions of the local area. Expect warm, tropical notes of Eucalyptus, Smoky Cedar and Orange Blossom. When we were in Tulum, Mexico we visited the Coqui Coqui boutique right across from the Hartwood Restaurant that was always crowded every night. It was full of beautiful perfumes and leather bags and there was also a coffee shop next door. It was beautiful and had we known they also sold perfumes that doubled as mosquito repelent we would have been even happier. Well for those of you who are now going on spring break and may be heading to the warmth of Tulum Mexico or Cabo, think about picking this up for your carry on before you get on the plane. You will thank me when you get back. I sure wish I had noticed that they sold mosquito repelent perfume in their little Coqui Coqui boutique while I was there. I would have happily bought bottles of it. Here you can buy it now for $14 and take it with you. You are welcome.
Chanel Perfume Bottle Bag Resort 2014 – this has got to be my favorite bag of the season from Chanel. For Resort 2014 Chanel created the plexiglass Chanel perfume bottle of their iconic Chanel #5 Perfume bottle into an evening bag with their iconic chain and it is just to die for to wear with a lacey evening outfit like the one they showed on the runway for Resort 2014. Love it or lust it, if you can get your hands on one – this one is a collector’s item for all you bag lovers out there from Chanel.com.

Here are some ways you can look after yourself so that you can have enough energy for your loved ones and look great doing it:
1.) Always make time for yourself in the morning to get dressed. This may sound silly, but many of us including myself will run out of the house in sweatpants to drop our kids off at carpool and end up in those same sweats all day without a stitch of make up until dinner time clean up is over.
2.) Spritz a little perfume in your hair in the am before you leave the house. Just the small little spritz lingers in your hair all day long and people will remember the scent of you when you leave a room or walk out of an elevator. It is that little bit of scent that gives you that bit of sex appeal that makes you feel good all throughout the day. In Brazil they say “perfume importado” and I agree that perfumes are important.
3.) Put on a little blush, mascara, and lipstick. Just that little swipe of lipstick will brighten up your face. Don’t you feel like you look more alert and awake when you add a little make up to your face? It takes 2 seconds and it makes you feel good about yourself. When you feel good you project positive feelings to yourself and your children and your day just works out that much better.
4.) Take a walk during lunch. You may think that you need to fold the laundry or work through lunch, but that 45 minutes to an hour in your day will not change your life at work or at home. The laundry and your work will still be there after you come back from lunch. Take a walk and clear your head, get some sun, and some exercise. In one hour you can accomplish 3 things: clearing your head, exercise, and getting some sun which is great for quelling those winter blues we sometimes gets when we are inside all fall and winter.
5.) Before bed, take some time to read or do something you like. You don’t have to always feel the need to finish everything before bed. Tomorrow is another day and everything will be right there waiting for you.
