If you are obsessed with the ballerina look like I am, you will want these lace up leather pumps from Miu Miu. What I find amazing about them as opposed to the Miu Miu ballet flats is the 3.5 inches of heel on them. Since I am petite, I like a little help in the height department and these Miu Miu pumps are just what I need. Also, these are a great classic style that you can wear without the lace with any black suit jacket for a work event or lace them up to wear with a pair of boyfriend jeans for a night out. The gingham black and white ribbon will give you a more casual look and the black ribbon will help you lace up a more glamorous look for a dressier occasion this holiday season. Either way, this Miu Miu lace up pump is a classic for your closet. Get them at Net a Porter.
What could be cuter than the Asos Pom Pom lace up pumps? They look a lot like the Isabel Marant lace up flats and the Aquazurra lace up flats we all love and covet, but these are different because they have a 3 inch heel. For those of us shorter gals, a 3 inch heel makes a difference. And the style is the same other than the 3 inch heel. So if you are vegan and want something that is under $100, get this lovely pump to wear with leather pants or a dress for Valentine’s Day. These are sexy and sweet all at the same time.
White Leather Lace Up Espadrilles for summer. I found the perfect pair in leather upper with laces for $65. There are variations in black leather and in a snake leather that are all great. You can wear this pair of sandals all summer with shorts, dresses, and cropped pants. Why not get all 3 colors? I love this look because the lace up look is so in and it is only $65. The white is fresh and perfect to go with a great summer lace dress or a pair of white cropped pants and a tank top. The black can go with a pair of AG Stilt cropped distressed denim jeans and a silk blouse for an evening stroll. You will not regret this purchase.
Black Lace Up Ballet Flats are all the rage this season and I love it because it is that gladiator style crossed with a ballet flat to give you that ballerina feel. A few seasons ago Chloe did a more ballerina style that was less edgy that Angelina Jolie was seen wearing everywhere. This season the toe box is more pointed and edgy and the lace up area is tied or alternatively zipped up from the back and the style comes in suede or leather or rubber. Whatever your preference there are lots of options. Here are some of our favorites.
Isabel Marant Edris studded sandals in nude pink color for spring with a feminine bow. So pretty.
The most feminine pretty sandals for summer from Isabel Marant. They are comfortable too with that Birkenstock styling, but with the edgy rock chic studs, a bow, and lace up ankle detail that only Isabel Marant can do to make it ultra sexy and feminine.
These are straight from the runway and a must have pair of shoes for summer.
Sophia Webster Clementine Leather & Suede Lace-Up Sandal Boots are very fashion forward. These types of sandal boots that lace up all the way to the knees are very popular among fashion bloggers, celebrities, and pop stars at the moment. I think Kourtney Kardashian rocked a pair a few months ago and since then Rihanna has also rocked a pair or 2. I am not the biggest fan of this look, however if you are going out to a club with your short shorts and mid drift top, I suppose these sandals are definitely what you should be wearing with the outfit.
RED Valentino Lace Up Booties with Shearling – I love the Chanel combat boots from a few years back, but this season’s quilted leather combat boots from Chanel are not my favorite. I also owned the granny boots from the 90’s by Prada and then the Ann Demeulemeester combat boots as well. Enter the new and very feminine pretty and touch and edgy Red Valentino combat boots with the shearling lining with a bow on the back of them so you can wear short pants or a skirt with them and I am in love. These are definitely THE must have pair of lace up combat boots for the fall and winter season if you are looking for a great pair of lace up combat boots. And if you are looking for a pair of boots to keep you warm while commuting to work that you can wear with pants or a dress or a skirt. I like these.
Latest update to this post: I found an amazing store online that sells Ann Demeulemeester and ships from Europe for free! Click the banner here to learn about them. My favorite place to shop currently.
The Ann Demeulemeester triple lace high heeled boot is a runway and run away hit this season. The boots are sold out in the flat and the high heeled in every store everywhere. The boots retailed for $2250 for the tall high heeled version and retailed for $1695 in the flat heeled version. I found one pair in the high heeled version like the one that Jane is wearing below in a black size 38 for sale for half the price on Ebay. If you are lucky enough to be a 38, click here to get them now.
Sea of Shoes’ young genius fashionista blogger Jane A. talked about her dark purple and black versions constantly on her blog all Fall and Winter which made everyone scramble on the internet to get themselves a pair before Christmas. Alas, these most coveted pair of very pricey boots (photos shown of the ankle heeled version and the flat tall version here) by the fashion punk glam queen Ann Demeulemeester are sold out and not coming back.
