Sundance Kristen Stewart fingerless gloves

on January 15th, 2010

This is from last year’s Sundance.

Kristen Stewart was seen at Sundance yesterday arriving with Juicy Couture Pop Top Gloves with mitten covers. She is at Sundance 2010 to promote her 2 independent movies “Welcome to the Rileys” and “The Runaways” with Dakota Fanning. I like the Juicy Couture  Pop Top Gloves with the mitten covers because it is convenient to take off the mitten covers to use your fingers and keep most of your hand warm at the same time. warm.

Get the Juicy Couture Pop Top Gloves here now.

The Juicy Couture Pop Tops are also available here for $55.

She wore some cool fingerless gloves in the movie and that is a great gift that will keep someone warm through the winter. Here are some of my favorite fingerless gloves that will go with everything.

Neon Colors and 80’s fashion

Even though some of us would rather put the 80’s behind us with the rubber bracelets, lace, fingerless gloves, neon clothing, and Wham songs. There is a whole generation of people in their early 20’s who love the 80’s fashion comeback. Check out the celebrities who have been wearing the fingerless glove trend. Taylor Momsen, Lady Gaga, and Kim Kardashian are amongst the celebrities who have been rocking the 80’s looks one look at a time. Click the photos to check out some of my 80’s inspired fashion in cashmere sweaters, fingerless leather gloves, and open toe silver disco ball boots below. Mix up those dark colors of winter with a burst of bright color. I love this bright yellow Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater.

Rock the Fingerless Glove Trend this Fall

on September 30th, 2009

fingerless-gloves

One of the more dramatic trends this fall is the fingerless glove. This trend is part of the glam rocker trend and coordinates well with black skinny jeans, moto jackets and studded accessories. But be careful not to go over board. Pair fingerless gloves with a leather vest, tee and jeans or with leggings and a long faux fur belted vest. These gloves are more for effect than for function, as they will probably not keep hands warm during the snowy season.

From Free People, frivolous and fun Sparkle Fingerless Gloves, (upper left, $38 at Shopbop.com). These fine knit 15-inch long gloves feature a multicolored metallic sparkle, ruching on the sides and cutouts along the outer side. Aqua’s fingerless knit gloves ($45 per pair at Bloomingdales.com) come in a wide variety of colors to accent your fall wardrobe. Long knit rib cuffs can be worn rolled up or to full length. Carolina Amato’s fuchsia Snappy Fingerless Driving Gloves (middle right, $41 at Shopbop.com) add a fun pop of color and perfectly accent an all black outfit. From Rochas a pair of Fingerless silk crochet gloves (bottom, right $545 at Net-a-Porter) gives a homespun vintage Victorian look to the fingerless glove trend. Portolano’s Nappa Fingerless Gloves in black (bottom left $150 at Saks.com) are more like a gauntlet than a glove because there are no holes for the fingers. These 9-inch luxe fingerless gloves are lined with silk.

Taylor Momsen Fingerless Gloves

Everyone from Lady Gaga, Taylor Momsen, and Kim Kardashian are sporting fingerless gloves again. It seems what is old is new again. I wore black fingerless gloves in junior high school and now Chanel is making them and Kim Kardashian is buying them. Taylor Momsen looks tres chic in her tough street chic fingerless gloves with her black leather jacket. Lady Gaga looks interesting with her fingerless gloves and latex one shoulder jumpsuit. So you see fingerless gloves have made a comeback. Obviously you can add your own personal style as these celebrities have done. Like em or not, they are back.

Click the photo to get your own fingerless gloves in black cashmere now to keep your digits warm for Obama’s Inauguration. What is Michelle Obama going to wear? I hope she chose Monique Llullier our Los Angeles favorite.
