I love Prada flats because they have really perfected the most comfortable ballet flat in the world as far as I am concerned. I own a pair of these cushioned Prada ballet flats in black and can tell you from first hand experience these are the ones to get for spring. If you are planning on traveling this summer and touring lots of museums and walking long distances, you should get a pair of padded insole ballet flats that will take you from day to night without a worry. For those of you who like to be tall and wear heels while walking over the cobble stones in Paris, I cannot help you. For those of us who value comfort and fashion, these Prada flats are the only pair of shoes you will need besides a great pair of heels when you travel.
Why do I like these ballet flats so much besides the fact that they are comfortable. Look how sweet they look in this nude beige ballet pink color in patent leather with a dainty pink bow. It is printed Prada right at the cap toe of the ballet flats in the same color as the ballet flat for that subtle recognition of the brand. This is a pair of shoes you can wear on the plane, walking in the streets, and everywhere in between. I think they are just so pretty, you can even wear them to work with a grey skirt and a tunic top in the spring.

Are you going to Europe or New York City or some other walking vacation spot this summer? A must have on your trip will be a very comfortable pair of ballet flats. If you do not want to be relegated to your sneakers or Birkenstocks I suggest you take a look at the Gucci Brehat ballet flats. Unlike other ballet flats, these flats are made with a leather cushioned sole that makes you feel like you are walking in your favorite sneakers. The rubber bottom gives you an additional layer of cushioning on the outside so when you are touring the Eiffel Tower or Ellis Island, you will be stylish and comfortable on your trip. I love the look of the GG logo with the captoe and the green and red signature stripe. This is a good looking walking shoe that you can wear with your shorts, jeans, leggings, or dresses all summer long. Gucci Brehat ballet flats $375.
New Year’s Eve is coming soon and we will be entering a new decade with the ringing in of 2010. One of my New Year’s resolutions is COMFORT. That’s right. My resolution is to make sure that things I wear are not only fashionable but comfortable.
When I was away for Christmas in Santa Barbara, I brought my favorite pair of Prada ballerina flats and I was glad I did. These Prada ballerina flats are flexible, breathable, and soft. The inside lining is leather, and the outside has a beautiful captoe and leather outer body. I spent most of my time in these beautiful flats and my feet thanked me for it every night. We did a lot of walking and I looked good and felt good. If you are planning a mid winter holiday getaway, get these great Prada ballerina flats by clicking here. I think these are a must have pair of ballerina flats for 2010 for their great looks and comfort.
Where have you been all my life? Yes, that was my first thought when I tried these on my feet. I have always loved wearing ballet flats because they are dainty, comfortable, and chic. However, when winter comes along, I sadly look in my closet daily at my collection of ballerina flats and think to myself I must wait until spring to take them out again. Recently, I found these most comfortable, most elegant looking cap toe ballerina flats that look a lot like that classic Chanel ballet style lined in a shearling. These cap toe ballet flats come in 3 colors – black, espresso and a champagne. I got them in an espresso color and have been wearing them with jeans and turtleneck sweaters all fall and my toes have been so warm and comfortable. Click the photos to try a pair in your size – you won’t be sorry. I love them in the espresso and may get them in the black soon…Get them for Thanksgiving in espresso.
This past weekend I was in San Francisco and walked all over the city. I walked and walked with only 1 pair of shoes. I walked from the Ferry Building one day to Lombard Street with this one pair of shoes and my feet never ached. If this is not an indication of a great shoe, I don’t know what other testimonial can beat this one.
I wore my black ballet flats in suede that I love and here is the pair I own and wore all weekend: Arche ballet flats from France. They are comfy and really a great alternative to the Lanvin ballet flats.

In the early 80’s my aunt had a pair of shoes like this but they were flat. They had the same nice suede footbed and the same gold hardware with the brown leather and the same toe ring just minus the heel. I loved those shoes on my aunt. She always wore them with shorts in the summer and she looked so cool in them. I tried them on once and felt how comfy they were and never forgot that feeling. I found those shoes again in these KORS Michael Kors brown wedge sandals.
I bought these sandals a few weeks ago after taking a hiatus from wedge sandals for about 2 years. I have been wearing ballet flats from Lanvin and Sue London but gave up on wedge sandals. I have the most amazing pair of wedge sandals in a vachetta leather by Miu Miu that I bought in 2001 that I wore to death, but had no success replacing those sandals. Miu Miu has not made anything like that since. Pity considering they were made twice in 2 different seasons and sold out right away everytime. Anyhow, these KORS Michael Kors brown wedge sandals fit the bill. I love them. They are comfy, the heel is great, and they remind me of my aunt’s sandals from the early 80’s.
