Burberry Wedge Platform Brogues on the WishList today. I have a pair from 2010 that were seen on Mary Kate Olson at Fall Fashion Week in London that I still wear all of the time. They are comfortable lined in shearling and 5 inches tall with a wedge platform just like these. The reason I love this style is simple – they look great with skirts, leggings, or skinny jeans and give me an extra 5 inches of height.
These new Burberry Wedge Platform Brogues are just what you want for spring. Brogues are big again as seen on the Fall 2013 runway shows. Bally and every other designer including Burberry were showing brogues again and my advice is to make sure to get yourself a pair before they are sold out in the platform wedge style. The platform wedges always go before the flats.
A great jacket for apres ski is the bigger fashion trend than ever peplum puffer black jacket.
Burberry, Alice + Olivia, St. John, and many other designers have created their versions of the peplum puffer jacket and they have all been gorgeous and must haves. I have picked my favs so you can check out which ones suit your budget and style.
One of my favorites for the price and the look is the Peplum Black Puffer for $32 from Forever 21. It is very cool because it is matte, cinches in the waist in a peplum style, and does not have any additional details that take away from the peplum jacket. It is just a pretty style that you can wear from winter into spring over almost everything. It does run small so size up.
My other 2 favorite peplum puffer jackets include the Burberry puffer jacket that is now on sale for $649 because of its peacoat inspiration. It is very British inspired in style as only Burberry can do and looks chic and will keep you warm.
Of course if you have a little girl, you should get a matching Burberry peplum puffer for her for apres ski. I love the pink bow detail around the waist. Too cute for $295.
Everyone needs a pair of riding boots. Sure, high-heeled boots may seem like a good idea when you’re out shopping but you definitely won’t think that while you’re trying to get about in the rain. Riding boots are chic and functional. They even make wearing leggings acceptable (at least it seems like you’re going for the horse riding look). If you don’t know where to start looking for a pair, here are five great options:
Tory Burch Calista Riding Boots: These riding boots are made of cowhide leather with polished gold hardware. They have a zip closure at the inner side and the Tory Burch emblem on the outer calf. You can buy these boots in brown or black leather for $495.
- Burberry Flat Riding Rain Boots: This is an elegant pair of riding boots with a belted detail at the top. It’s made of rubber, with a rubber sole and a soft fabric lining. These riding boots are only $285.Â
- Frye Veronica Slouch Tall Boots: These tall, slouchy boots are super comfortable and come in a pull-on style so they don’t even have a zip. They have a round toe and a stacked heel. You can buy these boots for $328.
- Gucci Tall Lace-Up Riding Boot: These boots are made of dark brown leather and have a classic lace up vamp. They are effortlessly chic and can dress up any fall outfit. These are on sale for 1,150 at Neiman Marcus.
When you think of springtime purses, you typically think of pastel or sherbet bags that beckon the floral colors of spring. We’ve searched for the top handbag trends for spring and found five handbags that express different styles that might not be in your typical spring accessories closet, but ones that will put you ahead of the rest for the new season. The first hot trend for spring is raffia. Raffia is a palm-like material that we are starting to see in tons of shoes, accessories, and now bags.
Our favorite one is the Burberry leather and raffia shoulder bag for $1,295. Its tan raffia base combined with caramel leather detailing give it an exotic yet modern feel. Because of the combinations of two neutrals, this bag goes great with almost any outfit and screams “fashion-forward.
The next handbag trend for spring is a spin on the typical evening clutch – the envelope clutch. Our choice is the Chloé color-block leather envelope clutch for $450. This clutch in particular embodies a traditional trend, color blocking, and a more contemporary trend, the envelope style. The lime green has a springy punch against two different shades of brown, creating a very vintage vibe. The soft leather elements and clean distinction in color blocking allow it to be able to have a more casual appearance than the usual purse you’d bring out with you on a Saturday night. The next change for handbags in spring is the textured tote. Whether it’s woven or embossed, spring will bring about tons of texture in oversized bags like totes.
Our pick is the Miu Miu’s Matelassé leather tote for $2,200. Its soft rose pink color acts a neutral but gives a bit more vibrancy than just a classic beige. The subtly ruffled exterior adds an element to the overly structured and tailored bags we’ve been so used to seeing in the past. The partially silver linked handles create an additional form of texture that ties everything together in a gorgeous, sophisticated bag.
The fourth spring handbag that we desperately need is the Victoria Beckham Victoria leather tote for $3,250. This beautifully crafted tote makes a statement with a bold pop or orange with black sides and handles. The geometric shape and expertly chosen hues make it not only chic and elegant, but also sultry and edgy. The last handbag look for spring is carrying a bright satchel.
Our pick is the Proenza Schouler small leather satchel for $1,225. The neon-coral color gives it a fashionable pop of color that will stand out against any outfit. The belt buckle straps and gold hardware are sleek additions to this fabulous bag. Whatever your style is, these five bags are the top choices for spring and utterly amazing.
Take your pick or get all 5 and stay ahead in style for spring. All bags can be purchased at Net-a-Porter.com.
It’s raining, it’s pouring, and the old man is snoring. I love the rain. It is cozy and gets me in the mood for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas. I also love the rain because I can pull out all my cozy sweaters and boots. Rain boots are one of my favorite accessories. One of my favorites this season is by Burberry. These Burberry rubber rain boots
are great because they do not look like “rain boots” and look more like a great pair of riding boots. In fact, Burberry made these in their leather version too. So if you want to look chic, get these great Burberry boots for the rest of the winter.
Burberry rubber rain boots for $275.
If you love a high heel that does not sit on a skinny stiletto heel, this Burberry wedge platform sandal is the one for you. It is 5 1/2 inches in height with a platform that is 1 3/4 which means you will feel like you are walking on 3 inch heels instead of 5 1/2 inch heels. To get this kind of height advantage while comfortable is a must have for summer nights out or day weddings and graduation events.
The sandals were originally $495. They are now on sale for $345.99. Shop for these Burberry wedge platform sandals now.
Jennifer Aniston always dresses very California girl casual. Don’t be fooled by her casual look. Everything in her closet is well planned.
Take the Burberry leather jacket she has been wearing recently for example.
The thick distressed vintage looking black leather on this particular jacket is no accident. It is the work of Christopher Bailey at Burberry and it is bespoke. Oh yes folks, a custom made piece just for Jennifer Aniston. I saw the fall line up for 2010 for Burberry and that leather jacket does not appear to be there. I am dying for one of those shearling coats, but the leather jacket will be absent sadly. Here is my consolation to you. At least the gray one she wore last season on the cover of Elle was sold at Balenciaga albeit sold out in 2 minutes.
