Ruthie Davis Spikette Platform Pump in Silver

I met Ruthie Davis at Kitson in LA a while back and she was wearing a pair of ankle booties that were to die for. What I love about her shoes is the fact that they are tough and sexy and feminine all at once. There is nothing better than looking great in a pair of platform shoes without looking too prim. It is just that little bit of interest and edge that gives you that great look for a fun night out.
She is famous for embellishing her shoes with spikes and celebrities like Jamie Chung have worn them again and again because they are such great looking shoes made in Italy of Italian leather. One of my favorite pairs is the Ruthie Davis Spikette Deluxe Platform Pump.

Black Platform Ankle Boots Nicole Richie wore in London
Nicole Richie was seen at Kensington Palace in London at the Disney Princess Parade with her daughter and husband in a graphic print dress and black ankle boots. These are exactly the type of black platform ankle boots you want for fall because they go with pants, skirts, and dresses. These ankle booties look a bit familiar.
I have seen this style before and it is from a past season Christian Louboutin ankle boot. The large mouth opening at the ankle is very flattering to the leg the 1 inch platform helps a girl stay tall in these 5 inch heels.

These are buy Nicole Richie’s own line of recently launched shoes. They are the House of Harlow 1960 Natalia Platform Booties for $268.
Tory Burch Pink Ballet Flats – So Comfortable !

My favorite pair of shoes in my closet are my comfortable beautiful flattering Tory Burch Eddie Ballet Flats in Pink Patent leather.
The reason I love these flats so much is that they really do go with anything you own in your closet. On days when I just want to throw on cargo pants and a sweater with a tunic, I grab these gorgeous baby pink flats. When I want to wear my mod 60′s girl sleeveless dress from Zara, I grab these flats. You get the idea. They are comfortable and versatile and gorgeous.
Get the Eddie Ballet Flat in Pink Patent by Tory Burch for $178.
Loeffler Randall Rubber Rain Boots
I have always loved wearing my cognac leather Loeffler Randall Matilde boots. The boots go with everything from skirts to jeans, but they did not go well with the rain with their Italian leather bottoms. So when they came out with the Loeffler Randall LR Rain Boot I just knew that you die hard Matilde boot wearing fans would want to know about them. If you do not want to be like everyone else walking around with Hunter Wellington Boots why not buy these black sleek boots by a designer that knows style. You don’t have to be like everyone else, you can add style to your rain boots without them looking like rain boots.
Loeffler Randall – LR Rain Boot for $195.
Juicy Couture Reston Riding Boots

One of my favorite days – it is raining in Los Angeles. Something about the rain in fall just makes me so happy. 80 degree days are great too, but I always miss the East Coast fall weather. This is the beginning of the season of holidays with Halloween coming up very soon. Time to get those rain and riding boots ready.
One of the best styles for boots this season has been seen on Jessica Alba and Kourtney Kardashian. It is the Juicy Couture Reston Riding Boots. The boots are riding without being too much about riding and have just the right balance so you look great wearing these boots with a skirt, dress, or pair of jeans. If you are looking for a pair of great flat knee high boots, these boots are for you.
Juicy Couture Reston Riding Boots $425.
Vince Camuto Black Ankle Boots

If you are on the lookout for a great pair of ankle boots that can go with jeans or dresses, you will love these great platform Vince Camuto Mac Hiheel ankle boots in black suede. These shoes are made out of great quality suede, has a 1 inch covered platform, 5 inch heels, and a back zip that is sexy and functional. This is your go to pump style shoe for the winter. If you want your feet to stay warm, a pump may not do the trick, but a pair of ankle booties will definitely keep your feet warm in the winter. What makes these ankle boots so great is the extra wide mouth at the ankle of the booties. This extra wide mouth make your ankles look even tinier thus creating a longer more flattering leg. If you are looking for the perfect ankle boots for this fall and winter, get these.
Vince Camuto Mac Hiheel black ankle boots for $118.

Twenty10′s Hello Kitty Shoe Collection: Adorable or Abhorrent?
Hello Kitty has traveled the world and seen her share of designer collaborations, from accessible to high-fashion alike. She’s done beauty, home goods, apparel, diamonds, rainboots and beyond… but a full-fledged footwear collection? For adults? Now these are uncharted fashion waters! Young footwear brand Twenty10 (the label just launched in 2010!) seeks to take inspiration from the famous feline’s “worldwide adventures and global iconic presence” to create a series of mini-collections starting this Holiday 2011 and Spring 2012 season, featuring shoes that are stylish yet whimsical, carefree, and fun. The first lookbook contains everything from vintage-inspired slingbacks, fun leopard flats, festive flip-flops, and even Kitty-themed clogs… all of course, “subtly” branded with some image of Hello Kitty herself – either as a charm at the toe or emblazoned on the footbed. They’re certainly cute to look at, and if you do decide that one or more pairs are indeed a must-have once they’re released, they’re probably best left out of the work environment… but even as a diehard Hello Kitty fan, I’m not convinced I’d wear these Twenty10 creations. What say you – are these too sweet to ignore?

Donna Karan Wedge Platform Boots for Raquel Welch in Barbarella
These Donna Karan platform wedge boots with the antique hardware and wrap around straps remind me a little bit of Raquel Welch in 1968 in the movie Barbarella. There is a scene where she is walking with ripped clothing and a pair of boots and it has that look of raw sensuality. Couldn’t you see Barbarella wearing these Donna Karan wedge platform boots with a shearling coat in the winter? Of course us mere mortals can also wear these boots in a chic way with our winter ensembles of opaque black tights and wrap around skirts with a cowl neck cashmere sweater. However you decide to wear these boots, Barbarella would approve.
Robert Clergerie Wedge Platform Shoes
Robert Clergerie is back in action. In 1999 Robert Clergerie was huge for their rubberized wedge platforms from France. Then the excitement went away a little bit, but now they are back. Platforms are so big this season and with their expertise in wedges, you only want to buy from the best. Crafted in France, if you are in the market for a great pair of platforms this season in a boot or pumps, get Robert Clergerie.
I can see this great pair of platform wedges with a pair of opaque stockings and a pleated wool skirt with a Katherine Hooker bespoke jacket ala Kate Middleton.
This Robert Clergerie Olix Loafer is a great choice for fall and winter.
