Aldo Lilac Wedge Platform Pumps are a Must Have This Spring
Easter and Passover are just around the corner and what better way to brighten up your Easter or Passover outfits than to bring a little lilac purple color into your ensemble. When I think of this season, I always think pastel pinks, mint greens, and lilac purples. Currently there is a slew of pieces out there in lilac from colored denim, leather watches to dresses. Join the pastel lilac party by getting a great pair of 5 inch wedges from Aldo. These have a rubber bottom and a 1 1/2 inch platform. If you love lilac this is the season to collect everything in lilac. Imagine these lilac wedges with a lilac top and black coated denim jeans.

Spring Sandals Get Even Sassier with Printed Platforms
Given the fashion’s love affair with chunky, funky platform soles, as well as their fearlessness when it comes to fanciful prints, I’m stumped as to why printed platforms haven’t hit it big as a leading trend until recently! Whatever the reason for their delay, patterned platforms are here and they’re fabulous, using their large surface area as an advantage… to more easily show off the season’s sexiest prints, of course! If animal prints suit your fancy, these sky-high snake-soled Angeline wedges by Tory Burch go with almost everything given their neutral color palette, while these leopard-soled Nine West shoes put a sultry spin on the classic cork wedge. Polka dots are also huge for spring, so try these cutesy Loeffler Randall Chloe platforms on for size. And of course, the season wouldn’t be complete without a healthy dose of floral prints, so be sure to check out these River Island platforms, or the more tropical-inspired Bali wedges from Theodora & Callum!

Prada Patent Comfortable Ballet Flats in a gorgeous beige nude color
I love Prada flats because they have really perfected the most comfortable ballet flat in the world as far as I am concerned. I own a pair of these cushioned Prada ballet flats in black and can tell you from first hand experience these are the ones to get for spring. If you are planning on traveling this summer and touring lots of museums and walking long distances, you should get a pair of padded insole ballet flats that will take you from day to night without a worry. For those of you who like to be tall and wear heels while walking over the cobble stones in Paris, I cannot help you. For those of us who value comfort and fashion, these Prada flats are the only pair of shoes you will need besides a great pair of heels when you travel.
Why do I like these ballet flats so much besides the fact that they are comfortable. Look how sweet they look in this nude beige ballet pink color in patent leather with a dainty pink bow. It is printed Prada right at the cap toe of the ballet flats in the same color as the ballet flat for that subtle recognition of the brand. This is a pair of shoes you can wear on the plane, walking in the streets, and everywhere in between. I think they are just so pretty, you can even wear them to work with a grey skirt and a tunic top in the spring.

Black Ankle Booties for Spring MUST HAVES

Black ankle booties always scream chic, but some can start to look like all the other ones if you’re not careful. Here are my top 3 picks of black ankle booties that will be sure to set you apart from the crowd.
First, I love the Acne Pistol Short Booties for $570. The natural tan heel and detailing provide a cool contrast with the matte black leather and the tassel zipper makes a stylish adornment. You can rock these over jeans or alone for a great look.
These Maison Martin Margiela Open Toe Booties for $955 are super sexy and sleek. The soft nubuck, open-toe front, and dainty button on the exaggerated strap give this bootie a unique appearance while still remaining elegantly classy.

My third choice is the Rag & Bone Moto Boots II
for $595. These motorcycle-style booties add an edge to the typical black ankle booties. The tough exterior of these booties looks amazing when paired with a feminine dress or flowy blouse, creating the perfect contrast.
Kate Bosworth’s Lace Up Sandals from Joie
This was the most wanted sandal last spring when Kate Bosworth wore them out at LAX and spring is coming around again. For those of you looking for the perfect little lace up sandal, the Joie Leo Cut Out Lace Up Sandal is still one of the best looking gladiator options out there because the lace detail gives it that soft feminine edge that really compliments any ensemble casual or dressy. The sandals were so perfect with what Kate Bosworth wore that I think that if you buy these sandals you may as well copy the whole look. However another good option as the weather gets warmer is to wear these sandals with a great striped tunic dress. The great news is that now the sandals are on sale. They were $255 now they are $114.

Best Designer Sandals for Spring 2012
Everyone gets excited for Spring because it means open toe shoes!
Here are the top 5 sandals for Spring according to the gals at the Shopping and Info office.
If you don’t want that very flat sandal, try this tiny wedge sandal like the RED Valentino Grommet Wedge Sandal for $325. The t-strap and double ankle strap add a unique design to a boring flat sandal while the bow and grommet detailing giving it a little something extra.
For a slightly high option, we like the Brunello Cucinelli Scrunch Gray Fabric Sandal for $955 because it makes us reminisce of the Italian countryside. The grey fabric as a neutral provides a nice change from blacks and tans.
For a bold pop of color, we like the Ralph Lauren Alannah Suede Platform Sandal for $495. The chunky wooden platform against the bright tangerine color makes it an amazing sandal for Spring!
For a new spin on the tan heeled sandal, we like the Alexander McQueen Skull-Detail Braided Platform Sandal that has natural braided straps with gold details. The twists and curves of the straps give it an abstract pattern that will look fierce on any foot.
Our last sandal trend for Spring is a twist on the classic flat sandal. The Fendi Attraction Wrap Flat Sandal has a great bright red color, perfect for the season and an ankle wrap that gives it a sexy edge. Throw away your boring flip-flops and get one of these top sandals for Spring 2012!
Prada Rose Toe Flame Sandal – would you wear it out?

Prada came out with a new Spring Runway Collection, which features a series of shoes that could be either fiercely hot or wildly wrong, depending on your viewpoint. The black and red patent leather Prada Flame Wedge Sandal looks like it could be an accessory to a cheap pleather Devil costume. The flames go up the heel, around the ankle, and on top of the foot. All in all, there are too many flames on this shoe! A hint of something edgy usually works but this is over the top and probably not very wearable.
The Prada Rose-Toe Flame Sandal also has too much going on. The combination of too many red flames, the bright yellow coloring, and the red rose on the toe all in patent leather make it seem costume-y and a bit too loud. The Prada Flame Mule Slide, on the other hand, is a little bit better because it features a single pink flame coming out of the open back and a few flame details on the front. Its sleeker demeanor works way better, in my opinion, for housing this flame design. So, my advice for buying an edgy over-the-top shoe is to go with one that is simple but hosts one crazy feature in a subtle way, like in this third Prada heel.

Manolo Blahnik Ruched Ankle Boots with skinny jeans are gorgeous
These Manolo Blahnik Slouchy Suede Peep Toe Ankle Boots in black are the perfect combination of edgy and elegant. The slouched suede material adds texture to any outfit, removing any hint of overly stark or geometric. The wedge and peep-toe aspects, however, give it that fashion-forward flare that you just can’t get with a simple black leather boot. Because of the ruched shaft of the boots, I would wear them over something sleek like black shiny leggings or dark skinny jeans and pair them with a sheer flowy blouse. I would also wear these with a long sleeve short shift dress to add balance. Regardless of what you wear with these boots, they are going to look ultra sexy and trendy. Trust me, they are unlike any other pair and should definitely take up a spot in your shoe closet! They’re available at Saks for $1050!
Boots Look Like Isabel Marant Dicker Boots
This is one of those Look for Less posts that I love to do when I find something I am obsessed with and can share it with you in a lower priced option. If you have been pining over the Isabel Marant dicker boots seen on Kate Bosworth but want a more affordable option I found them for you.
Check out these DV by Dolce Vita Jamison Taupe ankle boots for $127.95. The heel, color, and look are very similar to the Isabel Marant boots for about $400 less. They would go great worn the way Kate Bosworth wears them with a skirt and a sweater or with a pair of skinny jeans. Either way, these ankle boots are a great addition to your Spring 2012 wardrobe because they can be worn with so many different outfits.
