Sometimes it’s difficult to find the perfect everyday outfit that is trendy but also comfortable so that you can play with your kids. This is one of those Look for Less posts that I love to do when I find something I am obsessed with and can share it with you in a lower priced option. If you have been pining over the Isabel Marant dicker boots seen on Kate Bosworth but want a more affordable option I found them for you.

This is the bag I should have bought to bring with me to MAGIC and ENK this year, but alas I never bought it. One of my favorite dress and top lines is Riller & Fount. I love their clothing because of the gorgeous fabrication. They make their whole collection with a mix of micromodal and spandex which gives their tops and dresses the most amazing drape. Drape is great because it looks beautiful and is flattering. One of my favorite tops is the cowl neck drape Boone top in the pink color for spring. Imagine this top with a cardigan and a grey skirt and some wedge pumps or casual with a pair of ankle zip jeans and those great Jimmy Choo ballerina sparkle flats. Either way, this top will become a staple in your closet.

Cartier Free Love Cuff Bracelet circa 2008

Yep – I am late to the party. Why didn’t anyone tell me about this great extra large wide Cartier Love cuff called the Free Love? I only recently saw it on Pinterest (see photo here) and on Kanye West from some photo shoot in 2010. I never knew Cartier even made a bracelet as thick as this.

Why do I love it you ask? It is such a nice contrast when worn with the regular sized Love Bracelets. Can you imagine this with a great leather bracelet, and a rose gold love bracelet or 2? I mean that is arm party to the max right? Well somehow in 2008 I was not thinking about Cartier Love Bracelets apparently.

So for Valentine’s Day I thought I would think about the Cartier Love Bracelet in all of its 54 glorious grams of gold. I was justifying it as sort of an investment of sorts. You know if you buy gold it is going up or at least it will stay this way for a while. Doubt it will go back to the $500 an ounce range. So at least I would not lose money. Anyhow, my thought was this was an investment so I should get one for myself. Well, after calling my Cartier boutique, I found out that the bracelet has been discontinued and was last seen at a store in January 2012 of this year. The store had a few left that people managed to snatch up. I was even late to the party of picking up the last few pieces in the country. Great. Well, I guess for now I will have to stare at this photo and hope that someone will be selling it somewhere online or that Cartier will make them again next year. It would only make sense that Cartier would produce a love cuff and love bracelet with a thicker width so people can choose or mix and match their love bracelets in different sizes. Wonder why they never did that? Cartier – this is a great idea for you.

Kate Bosworth sure likes tote bags. She was seen in late December carrying a great tote bag that was recognizable by its triangle logo. This Prada saffiano tote bag in grey calfskin is gorgeous and scratch resistant which makes it such a great carryall. The bag is classic Prada with its middle zip compartment to keep your wallet and valuables safe while out and about during the day. The grey color is just the right kind of neutral so the bag looks very updated. The size is great for an iPad or a small laptop. Take this bag traveling too. It will be a great on flight carry on.

Kate Bosworth is my style icon because I aspire to dress like her. Her style is just so effortlessly chic that I always want to wear whatever she is wearing. Everything she wears just looks so cool. She looked cool in the cold Sundance snow this year in Utah wearing her Rag & Bone skinny jeans while carrying a Coach Bleeker Legacy bag in the classic Fawn color. What I loved about the whole outfit was the classic modern mix of a classic jeans and tote combo made modern with the skinny cut of the jeans and the vintage leather from the Coach Legacy collection that is just a bit updated in style for our modern times.

Chanel Ankle Booties Kate Bosworth wore on the cover of Nylon Magazine

Ok so I am a little late to the party in terms of ankle booties this year. We have seen Kate Bosworth wearing ankle booties by Isabel Marant and earlier in 2011 she was seen wearing these Chanel chain ankle booties with a peep toe. I actually never saw these booties in the stores. I only saw the chain pump with the cap toe and the lace up gold chain boots. The peep toe one wedge booties are way cuter than those other two styles by Chanel. Question is where were they being sold if not in the boutiques and in the stores? The other question is when were the cognac brown color available?

When I was at Saks Fifth Avenue the other day, I only saw the gold chain embellished cap toe pump and the lace up wedges. Peep Toe ankle boots are apparently gone. Maybe you will find them online. But I did not see them in a store.
