What to Do in Croatia Guide

What to do in Croatia

Croatia ?? is definitely a wonderful place. Traveling by boat is usually the way to see this paradise. So if you’re like me who loves the sea, Croatia is definitely a must visit! If you’re planning for a trip to this country, there are three options that you can explore its beauty. Go island-hopping on an organized boat tour, rent your own yacht, or explore the country by land/ ferry. Most of it is historical tourist spots and the restaurants are incredible but I would say my favorites were:

Vis and Hvar

Vis is the farthest island in the Adriatic from the Croatian coast hidden behind the islands of Hvar, Brac and Solta. For many years it was closed to the public until 1989 because it became the military and naval headquarters of Tito’s partisan army. This meant that it escaped large commercial development and was able to retain its natural beauty.  The architecture on the island dates back to the early days of Venetians rule. Beautiful old stone buildings, made from stone from the nearby island of Brac, line narrow streets and alleyways in Vis and Komiza. When in Vis, you should rent mopeds ?️ and explore the island with a guide. During our stay, we stopped at this incredible place for sardines, calamari, wine and other seafood by the water. We also saw Tito’s cave where he hid which is located beneath “Hum”, tallest peak of Vis, it was previously known as “Ghost’s Cave”.
