I remember Stuart Weitzman did a pair of clear heels in the 1990′s and I just had to have them. Well, if you have never gotten on the clear shoe bandwagon or felt like you missed the boat, they are back. You can get them now.
Prada made quite a few pairs of plexiglass clear heels this season. Some are bejeweled, some platform, some flat thong sandals.
The one pair I am admiring is the black mesh pump with the plexiglass heel. I find this dressy and appealing in a Grace Jones meets Audrey Hepburn kind of way…The style is classic, but the mesh body of the shoe and the clear plexiglass heel give it a modern twist that can update your little black dress or your white capri jeans.
